Water and Love Kills Boutique jewelry do not mix! Remove your jewelry when showering, bathing, or swimming. Never submerge your jewelry in water!
Do not autoclave or ultrasonic any of our material.
Do not wear products while sleeping.
Do not leave your jewelry in a hot vehicle or leave in direct sunlight. Expose to extreme temperatures may dry out or crack the jewelry.
Always store your jewelry in a safe place, like a box, or case.
Do not store jewelry in your pocket, or purse.
Do not expose your jewelry to water, shampoo, or conditioner. All beauty care products like hair spray, hair dyes, spray tan oils, lotions, or perfumes must be avoided as well. Jewelry that absorbs chemicals can irritate the skin or cause skin reactions. Some items are hand painted, this will make paint fade, settings may tarnish.
Settings materials may include Zinc metal alloy (Cadmium Free), Copper (Cadmium Free) water-based paints, paint sealers & glitters. Some settings are hand painted.
Please handle your jewelry with care, since all of our jewelry is handmade, if you drop any of our jewelry, it is possible it can break or crack. Some items are hand painted, paint can fade, settings may tarnish over time.

General care for your new wooden jewelry

Remove your jewelry when showering, bathing, or swimming. Never submerge your jewelry in water!
- Our wooden jewelry is sanded to a fine finish then carnauba wax is applied to help repel moisture and keeps your jewelry looking beautiful. After prolonged wear, woods that are lighter in color may darken or slightly yellow with age. This is normal but can be delayed in some cases with proper care. Keep products in jewelry box or sealed bag at room temperature. Extreme changes in temperature or climate may cause organic wood to crack or shrink.
- To keep your wooden jewelry in good condition, use a dry cloth to clean the jewelry. From time to time, you may apply Jojoba Oil to your jewelry. You may do this by placing 1-2 drops (a little goes a long way) on a clean, soft cloth and polish your wooden plugs. Never use oil on any gem, or anything that is not organic.
All plugs are hand made to order and we do have a tolerance of .3 mm - .5 mm to the size ordered. Because of the organic nature of these plugs, there may be slight variations in the colors and patterns.
